Its new year again and although the usual euphoria following the conclusion of the earth's revolution are beginning to die down by now, some of the now accepted traditions that following the change of the calendar year are still in full flow among which is the new year resolution.
New year resolutions are commonplace and although it started as a Babylonian and then Roman tradition is now a cross cultural, cross religious tradition. Personally I haven't always been one for resolves but a Journal of clinical psychology study found out that people who make resolutions are 10 times more likely to change their behavior that those that don't. But the problems we face isn't making the resolutions, its keeping them as the same journal found that although 45% Americans make resolutions, only 54% of those are successful in the first 6months and ultimately, only a meager 8% make it to the end of the year. This piece espouses on Five simple ways to keep our resolutions.
